Next up: Tai O fishing village. Just on the other side of Lantau Island, this little town feels like it is trapped in time. It could have been 1900 or 2100. Bicycles and small boats are the main modes of transportation, while all commercial activity revolves around the fruits of their fishing labors. The village is filled with rickety stilted over-water structures and festively ornamented with all sorts of dried marine species. We arrived just in time to see the sun setting as all the fishing boats were docking back in the harbor. Absolutely lovely.

Stanley Beach: a slice of Australasian heaven on the south side of HK island. We spent an idyllic Sunday afternoon wandering through this beach side town, pretending we were in Australia. A tad touristy, but a mecca for those of us who appreciate ocean front living, Asian flair, and Australian charm.

I think it's safe to say that by the end of the weekend another Hazy had become a Hong Kong convert
