KH & HK: 1 Year Anniversary

You know you've been in Hong Kong for over a year when:

1) You are no longer scared to get on and off a minibus
2) You find yourself adding "la" to the end of your sentences
3) 100 degree weather + 100% humidity no longer activates your sweat glands
4) Your social life revolves around food
5) You have paid enough rent to buy a mid-size town in Europe
6) None of the ocean front buildings existed when you arrived
7) In a crowd you stay away from frail-looking old ladies with umbrellas
8) You consider purchasing a Mont Blanc pen just to flaunt at business meetings
9) At the movies you take bets on the number of phones that will go off during the show
10) You can recognize Andy Lau, Leon Lai, and Aaron Kwok
11) You don't bat an eyelid when your colleagues bust out their sun-dried sugar-coated cuttlefish for lunch
12) All your handbags are Shenzhen specials
13) You covet your neighbor's Feng Shui compass
14) Your collection of business cards has outgrown your office drawer storage space
15) You are unfazed by killing a family of cockroaches in one evening

And finally..... You know leaving Hong Kong will break your heart
